Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 18, 2026

pdfCraft (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides browser-based PDF and image tools at pdfCraft and related sites. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information — If you create an account, we collect your email address and profile details through our authentication provider (Supabase).
  • Usage and technical data — We collect information about how you use pdfCraft, such as pages visited, features used, device and browser type, IP address, and error logs. We use Google Analytics for aggregated traffic and engagement measurement.
  • Payment information — If you subscribe to pdfCraft Pro, payments are processed by Stripe. We receive subscription status and billing metadata; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Documents and files — Many tools run in your browser and your files may never leave your device. When a feature requires server processing (for example OCR, certain conversions, AI chat, or e-signatures), we process files only as needed to provide that feature and delete them after processing unless you choose to save them to a connected service.
  • Connected services — If you connect Google Drive or Dropbox, we receive only the access needed to open or save files you select. We do not access your cloud storage without your action.
  • Communications — If you contact support or receive service emails (such as signing requests), we retain those messages as needed to respond.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve pdfCraft
  • Authenticate users and manage subscriptions
  • Process documents when a feature requires our servers
  • Measure traffic, downloads, and product usage
  • Respond to support requests and send service-related emails
  • Detect abuse, fraud, and security issues
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and analytics. Google Analytics helps us understand site traffic and how features are used. You can limit cookies in your browser settings or use browser extensions that block analytics trackers.

4. Service providers

We work with trusted processors who help us run pdfCraft, including:

  • Hosting and infrastructure (e.g. Vercel)
  • Authentication (Supabase)
  • Payments (Stripe)
  • Analytics (Google Analytics)
  • Cloud storage integrations (Google, Dropbox) when you connect them
  • Document and AI services (e.g. Adobe PDF Services, Anthropic) for specific Pro features
  • Email delivery for account and signing notifications

These providers may only use your data to perform services for us and are bound by contractual obligations where applicable.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers listed above, when you direct us to (such as saving to Google Drive), to comply with law, or to protect the rights and safety of pdfCraft and its users.

6. Retention and security

We retain account and billing records while your account is active and as required for legal, tax, or dispute purposes. Server-processed files are kept only for the time needed to complete your request. We use HTTPS encryption and reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. You can update account details in your profile and cancel a Pro subscription through your billing settings. To make a privacy request, Email us at pdfcraft.official@gmail.com.

8. Children

pdfCraft is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. International users

pdfCraft may be operated from the United States. If you access the service from other regions, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data-protection laws.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of pdfCraft after changes means you accept the updated policy.
